There is a trend in copying the west . No Doubt they are developed and there are lots of things to learn from them . But blindly copying them and implementing their principles here makes no sense . There is nothing ''Indian'' in it.
Recently there was an article about the Management Education in India . Its a finding that the pattern in which the fundamentals of Management are being taught are totally Western in style . Now there are two things to be noted here . USA doesn't have Democratic form of government. and applying concepts of Capitalistic nature to a nation where Democracy prevails is absolutely ridiculous . How can a country like India which is in the development process think of making Money , where the priority should be on the overall development of all the Sections of society and the nation . India might have a good GDP , but the issues like inequality in social and economic sections withing the society are increasingly widening . This kind of tilted growth makes no sense in the long term .
